Crown Prince Patronizes Sixth Graduation Ceremony of Al Hussein Technical University
Amman — His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, accompanied by Her Royal Highness Princess Rajwa Al Hussein, patronized on Tuesday evening the sixth graduation ceremony of Al Hussein Technical University, which celebrated 450 graduates from various technical and applied degrees and disciplines.Al Hussein Technical University, one of the Crown Prince Foundation’s initiatives, celebrated the graduation of students from the Bachelor’s Degree, the Second Technical Degree, and the First Technical Degree, across academic and applied programs including Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Game Design and Development, and Architecture Engineering. These programs reflect the university’s mission to prepare technically skilled graduates who are ready to meet labour market needs.The graduation of the sixth cohort coincides with the tenth anniversary of the university’s establishment. HTU was founded based on the vision of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince to introduce a technical and applied education model that responds to labour market changes and is built on hands-on learning, innovation, professional readiness, and strong partnerships with industry.During the ceremony, HTU President Prof. Ismael Al-Hinti delivered remarks highlighting the university’s journey since its establishment at the King Hussein Business Park, and its development into an applied educational institution that today serves around 3,000 students from across the Kingdom. He noted the university’s role in enabling students to apply technology and practical knowledge to develop solutions linked to real-world challenges.Prof. Al-Hinti also announced the launch of the Al Hussein Technical University Endowment, aimed at supporting the university’s efforts to expand its scholarship programs, which currently enable more than 1,000 students to continue their education at HTU. The university seeks to further expand the impact of these programs in the coming years, strengthening equal opportunity and supporting talented and ambitious students.The launch of the endowment marks a strategic step toward sustaining the university’s mission and widening access to technical education for talented students. It also builds on HTU’s commitment to promoting a culture of sustainable giving and ensuring that its educational and developmental impact continues for future generations. During the ceremony, His Royal Highness honoured the university’s top students. Shatha Al-Bitar ranked first in the Bachelor’s Degree and first in the Department of Computer Science; Ehab Qaza ranked first in the Second Technical Degree and first in the Department of Architecture Engineering; Zeina Al-Zuwairi ranked first in the Department of Energy Engineering; and Noureddin Darwish ranked first in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Bachelor’s level.
