In 2020, HTU launched a new partnership with the Ministry of Labor (MoL) to support the Khidmet Wattan program; the Ministry’s national skill-building platform where the university will support job-seeking bachelor’s degree holders in the areas engineering/manufacturing, ICT, energy, and construction technology
HTU received 250 trainees who were divided into 6 main programmes:
Industrial Automation
Automotive Technology at the Jaguar Land Rover Apprentice Academy (Mahmoudia Motors)
Renewable Energy
Architectural Technology
Construction Site Supervision
ICT (Data Science, Computer Networks, Front-End Development)
